STRATEGIC PLAN
Nick loves that our district has a strategic plan - just like his own company and current employer. A major tenet of a board member is to guide strategy. Rockford Public Schools is unique in his family's search for a school district in that it has a plan for the future which leads to continuous improvement. It is called the Rockford Action Model for Success (RAMS X). It is updated every three years with input from the community, district, teachers, students, and parents - all parties with a vested interest in a healthy school system.
This is a major piece of Nick's platform and the primary path to modify what the district's inward focus. As a parent and community member Nick has a direct impact on the strategy that all decisions made in the district are weighed against - and so can you!
